Thank you for visiting the Photobeads blog. We like to inform you about the changes that have been made with Photobeads. This company has been taken over by Kralenzooi. This was effected on the 23rd of june 2010.
In the meantime Photobeads is no longer an individual company. The name of Photobeads will live further on. Its products are still recognizable in a separate department of the web shop Kralenzooi. New is the possibility that consumers can buy Photobeads products in the web shop of Kralenzooi.

Flower Life buttons in the Bead Unique

Alexandra wrote: I’ve managed to get a place in the Bead Unique Summer 2009 Bead Swap!
This means that 15 participants of this Bead Swap issue received a set of Flower Life buttons (among other beads). Hopefully there will be many button creations and hopefully the editors will find some of them beautiful enough to publish in the magazine. All pieces will be published on the Bead Unique website, but with a delay of about a year. Patience!

What sounds more appealing to you: ‘tensha bead’ or ‘decal bead with a rose’? ‘Photobead’ or ‘large pink bead with purple flowers’? Specialty beads are special and you can emphasize that by giving them a special name. Most of the time they have a name already. Ask your supplier or do some internet research.

A special name makes your customers curious, makes the beads sound important (which they are!) and stresses the variety of products you have to offer. Besides, people like to be special, wear special clothes and make jewellery from special beads.

Dotty from dottyral loves tutorials. So she decided to gather all tutorials that are published on different blogs all over internet. She places several new links on her Totally Tutorials blog every day. Which is great because no we don’t have look anymore!

Specialty beads: beach stones and photobeads

Shelly from A Stone’s Throw makes original jewellery with beach stones which she collects on Cape Cod.

Her other specialty are necklaces called NeckWreaths. They are crocheted from fine gauge sterling silver wire and then “woven” together with her secret sewing technique! They close with sturdy “mag lok” TM magnetic clasps which are embedded in her handmade polymer clay cones.

The wreaths are adjustable in length from 16-18″ long. They incorporate new beads, like the photobeads, vintage beads as well as resin and semi precious stones and pearls.
